Background
Alex didn't fall into retail he chose it, over and over again. From his first job to a career spanning store operations, inventory planning, buying, and regional leadership, he built a depth of experience most consultants only approximate.
He's led planning and inventory for apparel businesses, gift stores, and luxury beauty brands. He's worked with small family operations and national names. Through all of it, the through-line has stayed the same: helping businesses understand where their money actually is, and what to do about it.
His focus with every client is playing offense — building forward-looking open-to-buy plans that keep inventory moving, cash flowing, and options open. He's direct about what the data means, concise about what to do next, and genuinely invested in the outcome.
"The world needs more independent retailers. Getting to this position in my career — that was a concerted effort. I want to help."
— Alex
“Working with Alex saved us around 50% in initial inventory investment when we opened. We knew then that having him in our corner would take the financial day-to-day completely off our plates — and it did, from day one.”
“I used to walk into buying markets without any real plan. Alex changed that. Now I know exactly what I can spend by category before I even look at a vendor. My markdowns dropped and my turns went up in the first season.”
